Job summary

Shivshakti Stores Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to own the end-to-end operations of the distribution warehouse. You will lead a floor team, oversee inbound/outbound flows, and ensure inventory accuracy with strong compliance to safety and quality standards.

You will manage 5 pickers and 20 labourers, drive daily operations on the floor, and coordinate with logistics partners to meet dispatch schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate with diploma/degree in relevant domain.
• 7+ years in warehouse/logistics with 2–3 years in supervisory roles.
• Experience in FMCG distribution is preferred.
• Strong focus on inventory accuracy and KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Supervise a team of 5 pickers and 20 labourers; allocate tasks and monitor productivity.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and run stock audits to minimize discrepancies.
• Ensure timely order fulfilment per dispatch schedules and dealer requirements.
• Coordinate with transport/logistics partners for inbound and outbound movement.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO and maintain 5S and safety compliance.
• Prepare MIS reports on inventory, dispatch, and manpower productivity for management.
• Recruit, train, and appraise warehouse staff; enforce SOP compliance.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of our distribution warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end running of the warehouse inbound and outbound material flow, inventory accuracy, team supervision, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role managing a team of 5 pickers and 20 warehouse labourers, and you will be expected to be present on the floor driving daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch of goods
• Manage and supervise a team of 5 pickers and 20 labourers allocate daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure shift discipline
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits/cycle counts to minimize discrepancies and shrinkage
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment in line with dispatch schedules and distributor/dealer requirements
• Coordinate with transport and logistics partners for inbound and outbound material movement
• Implement and enforce warehouse layout, space utilization, and FIFO/FEFO practices for FMCG goods
• Monitor and maintain warehouse safety standards, cleanliness (5S), and compliance with statutory/labour regulations
• Manage stock reconciliation, handle damages/returns, and coordinate with the purchase/sales teams on stock levels
• Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on inventory, dispatch, and manpower productivity with management
• Recruit, train, and evaluate warehouse staff; ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
• Control warehouse operating costs including manpower, packing material, and transport
• Ensure proper documentation for all inward/outward movement of goods (invoices, e-way bills, gate passes, etc.)

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; a diploma/degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management is a plus
• 7+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• Prior experience in distribution, or fast-moving inventory environments strongly preferred
• Proven experience managing a team of 20-25+ warehouse staff (pickers, loaders, helpers)
• Working knowledge of inventory management practices (FIFO/FEFO), stock audits, and basic warehouse KPIs
• Familiarity with MS Excel; exposure to WMS/ERP/inventory software is an advantage
• Strong people-management, discipline, and on-ground problem-solving skills
• Willingness to relocate/stay at the warehouse location (lodging & fooding provided as part of CTC)
• Good communication skills in [local language] and Hindi/English
