Job summary

East African India Overseas is seeking an experienced Warehouse Head to lead end-to-end warehouse operations for a pharmaceutical contract manufacturing facility in Dehradun/Selaqui, Uttarakhand. The role oversees receipt, storage, and movement of RM, PM and FG materials with strict GMP/GDP/SOP compliance.

The candidate will manage ERP/SAP transactions, ensure FEFO/FIFO, conduct periodic stock verifications, and coordinate with QA, QC, Production, Purchase, PPIC, Finance and Logistics.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of pharmaceutical warehouse operations experience.
• Experience in contract manufacturing/CDMO environments.
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP, warehouse documentation and audit compliance.
• Experience with ERP/SAP/WMS.
• Proficiency in inventory management, FEFO/FIFO and reconciliation.
• Ability to coordinate QA, QC, Production, Purchase, PPIC, Finance and Logistics.
• Strong team management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Preference for candidates from pharmaceutical manufacturing companies/CDMOs.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall warehouse operations for RM, PM, FG and other materials.
• Ensure receiving, sampling, quarantine, approval, storage and dispensing of materials.
• Maintain GMP, GDP, SOPs and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure FEFO/FIFO and inventory accuracy.
• Manage ERP/SAP transactions, stock receipts, issues, transfers and stock reconciliation.
• Monitor temperature and humidity and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, Purchase, PPIC, Finance and Logistics teams.
• Plan inventory levels, stock ageing and slow/non-moving stock.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
• Ensure documentation and traceability of all warehouse activities.
• Handle internal, customer and regulatory audits and CAPA closure.
• Develop and implement warehouse SOPs and systems.
• Manage warehouse manpower, shift planning, training and performance.
• Drive improvements in space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Ensure safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards.

• Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, warehouse documentation and audit compliance.
• Experience handling RM, PM and Finished Goods warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP/WMS.
• Strong team management and coordination skills.
• Experience in handling regulatory/customer audits will be preferred.
• Should have strong knowledge of inventory management, FEFO/FIFO and reconciliation.
• Candidates from pharmaceutical manufacturing companies/CDMOs will be preferred.
