Job summary

Mijas Consultants Jaipur is seeking a seasoned Production Leader to manage day-to-day CNC shop operations for high-precision engine components. You will own shift plans, optimise machine loading, balance lines, and drive OEE improvements while enforcing safety and quality standards.

You will develop supervisors and operators, coordinate with maintenance, tool room and QA, and implement Lean, TPM, Kaizen and 5S across the plant to meet production targets and cost objectives.

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile or Diploma in related fields.
Experience in CNC machining, line balancing and OEE.
Strong problem-solving and RCA/CAPA skills.

Responsibilities

Own shift-wise, daily and monthly production plan achievement.
Drive machine loading, line balancing, manpower deployment and throughput.
Optimise CNC machine utilisation, cycle time, setup/changeover time and OEE.
Manage CNC Turning, VMC/HMC and machining centre operations.
Ensure availability and effective control of tools, fixtures, gauges, coolant and consumables.
Monitor and reduce breakdowns, idle time, rejection, rework and process losses.
Drive structured RCA/CAPA for recurring production and quality issues.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, PPC and Engineering for quick resolution of shop-floor constraints.
Implement Lean, TPM, Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Control manpower productivity, absenteeism, overtime and shift discipline.
Ensure strict adherence to process parameters, SOPs, Control Plans, Quality and Safety standards.
Develop Supervisors, Line Leaders, Setters and Operators to build a capable production team.
Ensure accurate shift production reporting, MIS and escalation of deviations.
