Job summary

Lic in Karnataka is seeking a senior Production leader with 14+ years of Cold Forging experience in automotive fasteners. You will oversee daily production planning, lead lean initiatives, and drive safety, quality, and process improvements across the section.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical mindset, and excellent presentation skills to manage tooling, new part development, and training of contractual staff.

Qualifications

• B.Tech Mech with 14 years of experience in Cold Forging from automotive fasteners.
• Leadership quality, analytical skills, and knowledge of quality tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• 5S and safety audits experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily production planning and manpower planning in the section.
• Drive improvement activities and Kaizen in the department.
• Involvement in new part development and tooling.
• Provide on‑the‑job trainings including safety and quality for contractual staff.
• Manage consumables and disposal of rejections/rework.
• Eliminate abnormalities and manage production processes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Familiar with Production & manufacturing process in forging & rolling.


• Knowledge of fasteners & related process.


• working knowledge of computer in excel & power point.


• Knowledge of Quality circle,5-s, lean etc.


• Daily production planning


• Having good knowledge of cold Forging / rolling / CNC/ CLG / Tooling exp.


• Good knowledge of computer – PPT / Excel/Word / AutoCAD


• Good presentation skill


• Production, Manpower planning in the section.


• Driving Improvement activities in Department.


• Involvement in new part development in section.


• Daily disposal of rejection/rework


• Control of consumables in section.


• To Provide on job trainings to new contractual employees including safety and quality.


• Work for elimination of abnormalities.


• Driving & Involvement in improvement/ Kaizen activities
