Job summary

Kawenmanpower is seeking a skilled Forging Production Engineer to oversee and optimize forging operations. The role focuses on ensuring quality, safety, and productivity while leading shop floor activities.

The ideal candidate has hands-on forging experience, strong planning and problem-solving abilities, and excellent teamwork to coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical/production engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of forging production experience or similar manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production documentation and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and supervise daily forging production activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
• Optimize forging processes to improve productivity and reduce production costs.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and raw materials.
• Maintain production records, reports, and process documentation.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth production flow.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
