Job summary

mployedin in Chennai, India seeks an experienced logistics professional to lead export compliance, documentation, HS classification, and Incoterms support for international shipments. The role covers DGFT, ICEGATE, APEDA, and other regulatory requirements, ensuring shipment readiness and accurate recordkeeping.

You will manage global freight operations, obtain quotations, and coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and airlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on EXIM / international logistics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, Commerce, International Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Indian export documentation and procedures.
• Working knowledge of DGFT, Customs/ ICEGATE, APEDA, and export regulations.
• Strong understanding of HS/ ITC-HS codes and Incoterms 2020.
• Practical experience in sea/air freight and freight forwarding.
• Proven experience managing international shipments end-to-end.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills; ability to independently research and interpret destination-country requirements.
• Strong attention to compliance and documentation accuracy.

This is not a domestic logistics or documentation-only role. Candidates must have practical international export operations and compliance experience and be capable of independently handling complex export cases.
