Job summary

Pragati Edible is seeking an Export-Import Executive to manage and coordinate international trade operations, handling export/import documentation and liaising with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners. The role requires 1-3 years of experience and a commerce/related degree, with strong MS Excel skills and communication abilities.

You will oversee end-to-end shipment processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare various trade documents, reports, and LC-related activities,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Export-Import, International Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • Good knowledge of export-import procedures and documentation.
  • Familiarity with customs clearance processes and international shipping.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day export and import activities from order processing through final delivery.
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain export-import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, PO, shipping bills, bills of lading/air way bills, certificates of origin, and other required documents.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, transporters, and logistics partners.
  • Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable customs, DGFT, GST, foreign trade, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate customs clearance and resolve documentation or shipment-related issues.
  • Liaise with overseas customers and suppliers regarding shipping schedules, documentation, and delivery requirements.
  • Monitor shipment costs, freight charges, duties, and other logistics-related expenses.
  • Maintain accurate records of export-import transactions and documentation.
  • Coordinate with the finance/accounts team regarding letters of credit, advance payments, bank documentation, export realization, and related transactions.
  • Follow up on pending shipments, payments, documents, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare regular reports on export-import shipments, order status, logistics costs, and pending activities.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth and timely international shipments.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Export-Import Executive to manage and coordinate the companys international trade operations. The role will be responsible for handling export and import documentation, coordinating with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, shipping lines, and other stakeholders, and ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods.

  • Strong coordination and negotiation skills.
