Job summary

Shadowfax Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a Manager - Zonal Operations to oversee our zonal logistics across major cities. You will coordinate with origin DCs, MM logistics, KAM, and Last mile hubs to scale capacity while keeping costs under control.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, remote leadership across intercity lanes, and the ability to plan for peak surges during sales periods, ensuring smooth forward logistics and adherence to targets.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of intercity logistics experience (courier/e-commerce/transportation).
• Pan India multi-state experience preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and people skills to drive operations remotely.
• Good understanding of line haul or intercity logistics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure performance targets are met day on day across all lanes and clients.
• Identify friction points in operations and collaborate with stakeholders to enable growth.
• Coordinate with hub staff and MM team for seamless forward logistics.
• Plan and deploy actions to handle peak surges during sales and contingencies.

Manager - Zonal Operations

Role: Manager - Zonal Operations
Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: Director

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Manager who can take care of our zonal operations across the key cities of the country. The person will be responsible to work closely with internal stakeholders of middle mile team including origin DCs, MM logistics team (Air & Surface), KAM team and Last mile hubs in all the cities under Zonal operations and ensure that we are able to scale up capacity as the business grows and maintain cost under control

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure performance targets are met day on day (Surface & Multi Modal) across all lanes and across all clients
• Problem Solving : Identify friction points in operations and work with stakeholders to solve for business growth
• Maintain excellent co-ordination with Hub level staff and the MM team to ensure seamless and smooth operations for forward logistics
• Plan and deploy alternative course of actions to handle peak surges during sale periods and other contingencies that may develop in the course of business
• Monitor volumes (Planned vs actual projected) against cost impact across the different lanes while scaling the business and manage visibility/ feedback / communication with KAM stakeholders accordingly

Success in First 612 Months:

• Improved performance metrics in Zonal Operations
• Opening/Closing of new Zonal routes in coordination with Sales and MM team to increase serviceability, control costs and increase business volumes
• Cost kept under control while volumes increased across all routes in Zonal operations

Must-Have Skills:

• Good understanding of line haul or intercity logistics Pan India
• Good stakeholder management and people skills to drive operations remotely
• Prior experience working in nodal / inter city logistics in ecommerce companies

Ideal Candidate:

• Has 2-5 years of intercity logistics experience in courier/e-commerce/transportation; Pan India multi-state experience preferred.
