Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; MBA/PGDM is an added advantage.
• 5–10 years of experience in logistics, e‑commerce, transportation, or operations.
• Experience managing multiple hubs or geographical locations.
• Strong leadership and quantitative analysis abilities.

Job Summary

Shadowfax is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Zone Manager (SZM) to manage and drive end-to-end last-mile delivery operations across the assigned zone. The role involves managing multiple hubs, delivery partners, operational teams, and key performance metrics to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end last-mile delivery operations across the assigned zone.
• Oversee the performance and operational efficiency of multiple hubs.
• Lead and manage hub teams and delivery partners to achieve business targets.
• Monitor daily delivery performance, productivity, SLA adherence, and other operational KPIs.
• Ensure timely delivery and maintain high service quality across the zone.
• Drive delivery partner productivity, availability, and performance.
• Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Manage manpower and capacity planning based on business requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle escalations and resolve operational issues within defined timelines.
• Analyse operational data and reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Drive cost optimisation, productivity improvement, and process efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Travel across assigned hubs/locations as required to monitor and improve operations.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM is an added advantage.
• 5–10 years of experience in logistics, e-commerce, transportation, last-mile delivery, or operations.
• Experience managing multiple hubs, teams, or geographical locations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of last-mile delivery and logistics operations.
• Experience in managing delivery partners, fleet operations, and operational KPIs.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned zone.
