Job summary

Ramas Express Logistics Llp is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee pan-India logistics operations, coordinate with branches, warehouses, transporters and clients, and ensure smooth day-to-day activities.

The role requires 5–8 years in logistics/transport/operations, good communication and leadership, and willingness to travel across India. You will drive efficiency, compliance and cost-control while mentoring field teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in logistics/transport/operations.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and field operations.
• Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor day-to-day logistics operations across different locations in India.
• Coordinate with branch teams, warehouse teams, transporters, vendors and clients.
• Ensure timely movement, delivery and collection of goods.
• Monitor operational performance and resolve issues on time.
• Conduct regular visits to branches, warehouses, client locations and operational sites.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Track operational costs and support cost-control initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate with drivers, field staff and other operational personnel.
• Prepare and submit regular operational reports to management.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Support the opening, setup and management of new operational locations when required.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and service standards.
• Travel frequently across India as required for business operations.
