Job summary

Flipkart is seeking an Operational Leader for Last Mile to oversee end-to-end operations across regional hubs, ensuring 100% pickup completion and accurate bag closure. You will manage vendor and transport partners, monitor daily performance, and optimize vehicle utilization.

Drive cost optimization, manpower planning, and process improvements with Central Ops. Strong leadership and data-driven decision-making are essential for success in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong leadership to manage large regional teams.
• Proven track record in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce operations.
• Analytical skills for data-driven decision making and process optimization.
• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee end-to-end Last Mile operations across regional hubs, ensuring 100% pickup completion and bag closure accuracy.
• Vendor & Transport Management: Manage Last Mile transport partners, monitoring daily performance and optimizing vehicle utilization.
• Performance Tracking: Conduct rigorous reviews of KPIs, including Pickup TAT, Queue Time, and Exception Management.
• Strategic Planning: Drive cost optimization, manpower planning, and process improvements in coordination with Central Ops and Planning teams.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure 100% adherence to safety protocols, documentation, and regulatory audits.
• Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and resolve issues for a large regional team to foster a high-performance culture.
• Experience: Proven track record in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or E-commerce operations.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
