Job summary

Cummins Technologies India Limited in Jharkhand is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to plan and execute preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance of production equipment, with hands-on experience in machining centers and SPM. Proficiency in pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and in reading engineering drawings is essential.

You will collaborate with maintenance, facilities, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, manage spare parts via CMMS,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 8–12 years of experience.
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate with 6–8 years of experience.
• Experience in maintenance of production equipment and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Works with maintenance teams and assists line employees in basic procedures.
• Supports problem identification and equipment issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Manages spare parts inventory using a computerized maintenance management system.
• Assists with equipment engineering design evaluations.
• Develops preventative maintenance processes to maximize equipment availability.

Job Description:

Assists with planning and executing the preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance of production equipment. Hands on experience in critical machine assemblies of machining centers and SPM. Good knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics circuits. Should be capable of dis-assembly and assembly of critical machine parts with limited support. Must have good knowledge of engineering drawings and machine drawings. Sound knowledge of vibration analysis.

Responsibilities

Works with teams in the maintenance organization and assists line employees in basic maintenance procedures.
Assists Facilities, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering in problem identification, trouble shooting, and equipment issue resolution and repair.
Assists with spare parts and indirect materials inventory by using a computerized maintenance management system.
Assists with equipment engineering design evaluations.
Builds preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical engineering - 8 to 12 Years of Experience

Mechanical Engineering Graduate - 6 to 8 Years of experience.
