Job summary

BVR People Consulting is seeking aMechanical Maintenance Technician with 1-6 years of experience in assembly/manufacturing environments in India. You will handle maintenance of assembly machines, troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems, read machine drawings and support Kaizen and safety initiatives.

Strong knowledge of Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems, SPM exposure, and familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks are preferred. Fluency in English is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-6 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in SPM and assembly line equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems.
• Experience with Bowl Feeder and Linear Feeder maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand machine drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Electrical & Electronic troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Kaizen and 7 QC Tools.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Handle mechanical maintenance activities for assembly machines and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
• Read and interpret machine drawings and technical documentation.
• Maintain and update equipment, production line and facility-related technical documents.
• Troubleshoot major equipment/technical problems to improve machine performance and production uptime.
• Ensure safety and security of production equipment and personnel.
• Support Production Engineers during new machine trials, Kaizen, safety activities and production improvements.
• Have basic knowledge of electrical and electronic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Handle and troubleshoot SPM features, particularly bowl feeders and linear feeders.
• Apply 7 QC Tools for problem analysis and improvement activities.
• Use AutoCAD / SolidWorks for understanding machine drawings and mechanical components.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize breakdown and downtime.
