Job summary

Reflections Interior Products seeks a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to ensure uptime and reliability of manufacturing equipment across the plant. You will handle mechanical, electrical, electronic, CNC, and automated production machinery used in metal fabrication, bending, machining, laser processing, SMT/LED assembly, pick-and-place, and other processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with a broad range of production and automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and control-system problems.
• Diagnose faults in PLCs, servo motors, drives, sensors, encoders, and control panels.
• Attend breakdowns quickly and minimise production downtime.
• Identify recurring machine problems and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Plan and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all machines.
• Maintain machine history, breakdown records and maintenance checklists.
• Identify critical spares and ensure essential spare parts availability.
• Coordinate with machine manufacturers, suppliers and external service engineers when required.
• Support installation, commissioning and trials of new machinery.
• Ensure machines are properly calibrated, lubricated, aligned and maintained.
• Work with Production, Product Engineering and CAM teams to resolve machine/process issues.
• Train operators on basic machine care and proper operating practices.
• Continuously improve machine uptime, reliability and equipment life.

We are looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer to take responsibility for the upkeep, reliability and uptime of our manufacturing equipment across the factory.

The role will cover a mix of mechanical, electrical, electronic, CNC and automated production equipment, including machines used for metal fabrication, bending, machining, laser processing, SMT/LED assembly, pick‑and‑place and other manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery.

Preferred Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in industrial machine maintenance.
• Good understanding of both mechanical and electrical/electronic systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, servo systems, VFDs, sensors, drives and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, machine manuals and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with CNC and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Exposure to SMT / pick‑and‑place equipment would be an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
• 36 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates who have worked with a broad range of production and automation equipment will be preferred.

Key Expectation

The Maintenance Engineer should own machine uptime across RIPPL’s manufacturing operations — preventing breakdowns wherever possible, responding quickly when they occur and ensuring our equipment is maintained systematically rather than only repaired when something goes wrong.
