Job summary

Tyro Ventures is seeking an experienced Maintenance professional in Hyderabad to oversee machine maintenance, preventive scheduling, and downtime analysis. You will lead a maintenance team, coordinate shift activities, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across multiple packaging and production lines.

The role requires hands-on experience with industrial machinery, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to maintenance planning and performance improvement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance for plant machinery.
• Develop, implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Oversee shift operations and maintenance activities.
• Lead a maintenance team of about 50–60 employees.
• Perform root cause analysis for machine failures and downtime.
• Troubleshoot high-speed production machinery and related equipment.
• Maintain records and reports of maintenance activities.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance professional to oversee and manage machine maintenance activities, preventive maintenance planning, breakdown analysis, and shop-floor operations. The candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in industrial machinery maintenance and team handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for plant machinery.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Handle shift operations and ensure smooth functioning of maintenance activities.
• Lead and manage a maintenance team of approximately 5060 employees.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for machine failures and conduct downtime analysis.
• Troubleshoot machine-related issues, particularly high-speed production machines.
• Ensure maintenance and smooth operation of:
• Mixing machines
• Roll mills
• Moulding machines
• Plodding equipment
• Packaging machines
• Gearboxes
• Belt and chain drive mechanisms
• Pumps
• Conveyors
• Maintain machine standards and identify critical spare parts required for uninterrupted operations.
• Plan and monitor maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety standards.
• Coordinate manpower deployment and maintenance activities during shifts.
