Job summary

Varun Group Of Companies is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical) to oversee machine shop and foundry maintenance. You will perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and ensure equipment reliability.

The role requires reading drawings, familiarity with PLC/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and the ability to work in shifts. Immediate joiners preferred and local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Experience in Machine Shop and Foundry Industry is mandatory.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in shifts if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machine shop and foundry equipment.

• Maintain CNC, VMC, HMC, molding, melting, compressor, and utility equipment.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime and improve equipment efficiency.

• Handle installation, inspection, and commissioning of machines.
• Ensure safety standards and maintenance SOP compliance.
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance tools.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
