Job summary

Birla Carbon seeks a fraud investigation professional to oversee RC Fraud Investigation, Cyber Fraud review, and Internal Control & Process enhancements. You will ensure timely investigation reports for end-to-end tracking and coordinate with Infosec, Legal, and management to prevent recurrence.

The role also covers MIS reporting, incident tracker maintenance, and monthly dashboards. You will lead learning and development efforts and manage a small team to sustain controls across divisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in fraud investigation and cyber fraud prevention.
• Coordination with Infosec, Legal, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong data tracking and incident reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead fraud investigations and ensure reports are filed for end‑to‑end tracking and closure.
• Maintain incident tracker and daily updates; prepare dashboards for management reviews.
• Collaborate with ORM, Compliance and internal stakeholders to mitigate fraud risks.
• Manage learning and development activities and team engagement.

Monetary Savings RCU Fraud Investigation –Ensure fraud cases are investigated and investigation reports submitted to respective units for end-to-end tracking & closure.
1. TAT for filing Investigation Report from the date of concluding the investigation.
2. TAT for concluding the investigation from the date of incident reporting.
Cyber Fraud –
1. Ensure all third-party cyber fraud cases are reviewed & investigated if there is new modus operandi, identify gaps & implement fraud prevention measures.
2. Regular coordination with GRT, Marketing, Infosec (Paladion) and Legal Team as & when required.

Internal Control & Process Fraud Mitigation – Root Cause Analysis (RCA), identification of gaps, suggestion & implementation of fraud mitigation steps for prevention of fraud recurrence & coordination with law enforcement. Department Audit & Regulatory Compliances (Internal Audit Score & Open Items).

Process Efficiency MIS & Reporting –
1. Incident Tracker maintenance & complete updation on a daily basis.
2. Cyber Fraud Tracker maintenance & complete updation on a daily basis.
3. Monthly dashboard to be prepared along with Quarterly / Half-Yearly & Annual data to be submitted to the Management, RMC, ORMC, ACB via presentations and coordination with ORM & Compliance team for the same.
4. Maintaining tracker for all documents sent for verification as part of investigation & vendor report delivery along with vendor bill clearance.
5. Attempted fraud transaction review and submission to Compliance (ML tracker).

People Management 1. Learning & Development and Team Management – Self Training (4) & Off-role staff Training (1 Training / Month), Team Huddle & Engagement, Coordination with internal stakeholders, Annual 12 Monthly Meetings.
