We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM/CMDB Developer to design, configure, and maintain ITOM and CMDB solutions, focusing on Discovery, Service Mapping, and data ingestion from monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB.
• Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
• REST/SOAP integrations with monitoring/infrastructure tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB solutions.
• Configure and support Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and related ITOM capabilities.
• Implement and maintain CMDB data models, classes, relationships, identification rules, and reconciliation rules.
• Configure and troubleshoot Discovery schedules, MID Servers, probes, sensors, and patterns.
• Support integrations and data ingestion from infrastructure and monitoring tools.
• Develop and maintain business rules, scripts, flows, UI policies, and other platform components as required.
• Perform CMDB health checks and support data quality, completeness, compliance, and correctness initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and integration issues.
• Work with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Perform testing, deployment, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB Developer with strong hands-on expertise in CMDB and IT Operations Management. The role will focus on building, maintaining, and enhancing ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB solutions.
• Configure and support Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and related ITOM capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB.
• Good knowledge of Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and MID Server concepts.
• Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, CIs, relationships, identification and reconciliation.
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting and configuration.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and external monitoring/infrastructure tools.
• Knowledge of CMDB Health and data quality management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
