Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer with strong hands-on expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Service Management (ITSM), Discovery, CMDB, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM).

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions while ensuring platform best practices, data quality, and seamless integrations. The role requires a technically strong individual with excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.

What Will Your Role Look Like

• Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITOM, ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, HAM, and SAM modules.
• Configure and optimize Discovery, Service Mapping (where applicable), and CMDB to ensure accurate infrastructure visibility and data integrity.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, Flow Designer automations, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities.
• Ensure CMDB health by implementing CSDM and Data Foundation best practices.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend performance improvements.
• Participate in ServiceNow platform upgrades, release management, and instance optimization.
• Follow ServiceNow development standards, governance, and coding best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and deployment procedures.

• Experience designing and developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and development best practices.

• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.

Mandatory Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• Knowledge and practical experience in CSDM and Data Foundation (relevant certifications preferred if available)

Good-to-have Skills

• Experience with Now Assist and AI-powered capabilities within the ServiceNow platform.
• Exposure to Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Discovery, or AIOps.
• Experience with IntegrationHub, Automation Engine, and enterprise integrations.
• Knowledge of IT Asset lifecycle management and software license compliance.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
