Lead Administrator L2 – Wipro

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the platform, database, middleware, and backup tower, and manage its day‑to‑day operations.

Responsibilities

• Architecture Planning and Design
  • Lead the structural/architectural design of platform, middleware, database, and backup solutions to ensure scalability and extensibility.
  • Conduct technology capacity planning and review current and future requirements.
  • Utilize new features of underlying technologies to ensure smooth operation.
  • Strategize and implement disaster recovery and backup plans.
• Operational Management
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and develop fixes.
  • Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, maintenance, backup, installation, and configuration.
  • Review technical performance and implement improvements.
  • Develop shift roster to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Create and update SOPs, data responsibility matrices, operations manuals, daily test plans, and data architecture guidance.
  • Provide weekly status reports to client leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage technology for Service Improvement Plans through automation.
