The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup, etc.) as well as managing its day‑to‑day operations.

Role Purpose

To deliver architectural planning, migration, and installation support for new projects within the tower, ensuring scalable, extensible, and resilient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide adequate support in architecture planning, migration & installation for new projects in the tower
  • Lead structural/architectural design of platform, middleware, database, backup solutions to ensure scalability and extensibility.
  • Conduct technology capacity planning.
  • Utilize new features of underlying technologies to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Strategize & implement disaster recovery and backup plans.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the tower
  • Resolve issues, conduct RCA and develop preventive fixes.
  • Plan upgrades, migrations, maintenance, backup, installation and configuration.
  • Review and improve technical performance; fine‑tune efficiency.
  • Develop shift roster to avoid disruption.
  • Create and update SOPs, data responsibility matrices, operation manuals, daily test plans, and data architecture guidance.
  • Provide weekly status reports to client leadership and stakeholders.
  • Leverage technology to develop Service Improvement Plan (SIP) through automation.

Team Management

• Resourcing – Forecast talent needs, hire and train resources.
• Talent Management – Ensure onboarding and training compliance, build high‑potential pool, promote diversity.
• Performance Management – Set goals, conduct reviews, provide feedback.
• Employee Satisfaction & Engagement – Drive engagement initiatives, track scores, recognize employees.

Key Deliverables

• Operations of the tower – SLA adherence.
• Knowledge management and CSAT/Customer experience.
• Risk issue identification and mitigation plans.
• New projects – Timely delivery, avoidance of unauthorised changes, no formal escalations.

Experience & Qualifications

5-8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or administration.
