Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations.

Do

1. Provide support in architecture planning, migration & installation for new projects in own tower (platform/dbase/ middleware/ backup)
   • Lead the structural/ architectural design of a platform/ middleware/ database/ back up etc. according to system requirements
   • Conduct technology capacity planning by reviewing current and future requirements
   • Leverage new features of underlying technologies for smooth functioning
   • Implement disaster recovery and backup plans
2. Manage day-to-day operations of the tower
   • Troubleshoot issues, conduct RCA, develop fixes
   • Plan and manage upgrades, migration, maintenance, backup, installation, configuration
   • Review performance, optimize efficiency, fine-tune
   • Develop shift roster, create/update SOPs and manuals
   • Provide weekly status reports to stakeholders
   • Use technology for service improvement and automation

Operations of the tower	SLA adherence, knowledge management, CSAT, risk mitigation
