Job summary

VSL Marine Technology in Mumbai is seeking a Junior HR Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for sea-going and shore-based roles, sourcing candidates, screening profiles, and conducting initial HR interviews in collaboration with HR and Operations.

You will coordinate onboarding, documentation, and joining formalities, maintain accurate records, and support queries related to HR processes, compensation, benefits, and enrolment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of recruitment or HR coordination experience.
• Hands-on experience with Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn and other portals.
• Strong sourcing, screening and candidate coordination skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of Tamil and Malayalam is a plus.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Junior HR Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for sea-going and shore-based positions. The role involves sourcing candidates, screening profiles, conducting initial HR interviews, coordinating interview rounds, and handling documentation and joining formalities in coordination with the HR and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, initial HR interviews, and interview coordination using Naukri, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.
• Coordinate onboarding, documentation, and required training while maintaining accurate employee, contract, and deployment records.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to fulfil manpower and recruitment requirements.
• Prepare and maintain HR records and documents required for internal and external audits.
• Support employee queries related to HR processes, compensation, benefits, and enrolment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment or HR coordination, with a good understanding of recruitment and HR processes.
• Hands-on experience with Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job portals, with strong sourcing, screening, and candidate coordination skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of regional languages, particularly Tamil and Malayalam, will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain records and handle confidential information with discretion.
