Job summary

Novel Office in Bengaluru seeks a fresh IT support specialist to assist end users with hardware, software and network issues. You will troubleshoot devices, set up networks, and maintain security across the systems.

You will document requests in our ticketing system, provide user training, and collaborate with the IT team on projects. Travel to different locations in Bangalore will be required, and a relevant IT degree or certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Freshers are preferred.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ preferred.
• Should be willing to travel to different locations across Bangalore.
• Male candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, or in person for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripheral equipment.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and security of IT systems.
• Document and track all support requests and resolutions in a ticketing system.
• Provide training and guidance to end users on proper use of IT equipment and software.
• Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of current technology trends and best practices.
• Assist with procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and supplies.
• Follow IT policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
