Job summary

V2STech is hiring for a Network & System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Engineer in Thane (Work From Office). The role requires 1–5 years of experience and full-time employment.

Responsibilities include onboarding/offboarding, asset management, server and network administration, security, and vendor coordination. The candidate will work across Windows and Linux environments, Office 365/Google Workspace, and cloud basics, with emphasis on monitoring, backups, and release-ready deployments.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in network and IT infrastructure administration.
• Strong networking and server administration skills.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments and Office 365 / Google Workspace administration.
• Understanding of IT security practices and endpoint protection.
• Scripting skills in Shell and Python are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle device setup for new joiners, OS installation, software configuration, email setup, and access provisioning.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding, asset allocation, and access control.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of configurations and policies.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, and repairs.
• Support IT audits, backups, and data security practices.
• Provide technical support for system, network, and application issues.

We are hiring for In Network & System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Engineer

Role: Network & System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Engineer
Experience: 1 to 5 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Thane (Work From Office)

Working Days: Monday to Friday
immediate joiner only (Who can join with in a week )

Key Responsibilities

• Handle laptop/desktop setup for new joiners, including OS installation (windows and Lunix based especially Ubantu), software configuration, email setup, and access provisioning
• Manage user onboarding and offboarding IT activities (asset allocation, access control, system deactivation)
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure with strong networking knowledge(LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls)
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
• Ensure proper IT asset management and inventory tracking
• Configure and maintain VPN, antivirus, and security protocols
• Provide technical support to employees for system, network, and application-related issues
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, and repairs
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and IT policies
• Ensure data security, backups handling, storage management and system updates are regularly performed
• Handle printer setup, server access, and shared drives management
• Support IT audits and compliance requirements
• Ensure production deployment, release management, and environment support activities
• Server monitoring (health checkups, security, software upgreades on server)

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls configuration
• Hands-on experience in Linux (Ubantu) and Windows OS, Moderate-level Linux knowledge is mandatory
• Knowledge of Active Directory, user management, and access control
• Experience with Office 365 / Google Workspace administration
• Understanding of IT security practices and endpoint protection
• Basic knowledge of Google cloud platforms is required
• Experience in Apache/Nginx server configuration and management
• Hands-on experience with Ansible automation tools
• Experience in GitHub repository management and version control systems
• Good knowledge of MySQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB databases
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, prometheus, or Nagios
• Knowledge of Shell/Bash scripting for automation and monitoring tasks
• Basic Python scripting knowledge will be an added advantage
