Job summary

Centpro Engineering is seeking an IT Support L1/L2 to provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network issues at our Pune facility. You will diagnose, resolve, and document incidents, while maintaining asset inventories and ensuring security compliance.

You will install and configure Windows OS and applications, manage user accounts, and support ERP and cloud-based tools. Strong teamwork and communication are essential to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Windows OS and networking.
• Familiarity with servers, cloud platforms, and security practices.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certifications like CCNA, RHCE, or Microsoft certifications preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS, applications, drivers, and system updates.
• Diagnose and resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet, and basic network connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, access rights, and email configuration.
• Monitor and resolve IT support tickets within defined SLA/TAT.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate internal team or vendor.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, hardware records, and software licenses.
• Perform system backups, security updates, antivirus checks, and basic IT security activities.
• Support ERP, cloud applications, Microsoft 365/email, and other business applications.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair, AMC, networking, and other IT services.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, recurring issues, and IT activities.
• Assist in new employee IT onboarding, including system allocation, email setup, and access provisioning.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and access control procedures.
