Innovatiview is seeking an IT Field Support Engineer with hands-on field IT support experience and hardware troubleshooting for laptops and desktops. The role involves visiting client sites and resolving hardware issues.

You will diagnose RAM, SSD/HDD, motherboard, battery, display, keyboard, and charging ports, install and maintain IT hardware, and coordinate with vendors when repairs are needed. Travel to Naraina (New Delhi) and Bengaluru is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support at client locations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Field Support Engineer with hands-on experience in field IT support and hardware troubleshooting, particularly for laptops and desktop systems. The candidate will be responsible for visiting different locations as required and resolving hardware-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site/field IT support at different clients locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot laptop and desktop hardware issues.
• Troubleshoot issues related to RAM, SSD/HDD, motherboard, battery, display, keyboard, charging ports, etc.
• Install, replace, configure, and maintain IT hardware and peripherals.
• Perform hardware testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and replacement, when required.
• Maintain records of hardware issues, repairs, replacements, and assets.
• Ensure timely resolution of field support tickets and technical issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Field Support / Desktop Support.
• Strong hands-on experience in laptop hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, Windows OS, and basic networking.
• Willingness to travel to different locations as per business requirements.
• Travel expenses/reimbursement will be provided by the company as per company policy.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle field-level technical issues.
