Job summary

Tranzeal Incorporated is seeking an IT Asset Manager in Pune, Maharashtra. The role requires about six years of experience, deep knowledge of IT asset lifecycles, and hands-on ServiceNow/CMDB skills. You will manage asset lifecycles, maintain inventories, coordinate with procurement and data center teams, and prepare reports to support audits and compliance.

The position is office-based with five days of work from the office. A bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Electronics is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ticketing and CMDB.
• Strong understanding of IT hardware inventory and asset lifecycle processes.
• Experience in physical verification, stock reconciliation, and audit support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
• Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including receipt, tagging, allocation, deployment, transfer, return, and retirement.
• Maintain accurate inventory of servers, storage devices, networking equipment, spare parts, and other IT hardware.
• Track stock levels, hardware receipts, issuance, returns, and asset movements.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory checks and reconcile physical assets with system records.
• Maintain and update IT asset registers and CMDB records in ServiceNow.
• Use ServiceNow for asset-related tickets, inventory requests, and tracking updates.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring asset accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare inventory, asset status, stock availability, and reconciliation reports using Excel.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, data centre, and infrastructure teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
