Job summary

Talent Corner HR Services Private Limited is seeking an Inside Sales Executive to drive Sea Freight inquiries, quotations, and customer coordination from Navi Mumbai. The role supports the sales team in securing Sea Import and Sea Export business.

You will handle inquiries, prepare quotations, obtain rates, and coordinate with operations and customers to ensure timely, accurate service and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, or customer service within freight forwarding/logistics.
• Knowledge of Sea Import, Sea Export, FCL, LCL, and ocean freight pricing.
• Experience in preparing quotations and following up with customers.
• Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries related to Sea Import and Sea Export shipments.
• Prepare and share freight quotations in coordination with pricing and operations teams.
• Obtain competitive freight rates from shipping lines, co-loaders, and overseas agents, as required.
• Follow up on quotations and convert inquiries into confirmed business.
• Coordinate with customers regarding shipment requirements, rates, schedules, and service updates.
• Support the sales team with lead follow-ups, customer data, and sales reports.
• Maintain records of inquiries, quotations, customer communications, and business conversions.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth handling of confirmed shipments.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and follow-ups.
