Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking a candidate with an interest in supply chain and a fair understanding of import terminologies. The role involves coordinating with suppliers to schedule shipments on time, arranging documents for clearance, and working with CHA on shipment aspects.

You will be ERP-literate and ready to learn proprietary software while negotiating with vendors on payment terms and coordinating with banks for L/C and related charges.

Qualifications

• Interest in the field of supply chain and understanding of import terminologies.
• Experience coordinating shipments with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Comfort with ERP systems and willingness to learn proprietary software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers for shipment scheduling as per requirements.
• Arrange documents needed for import clearance of materials.
• Coordinate with CHA on shipment-related aspects.
• Negotiate with vendors to ensure payment terms as per agreement and manage banking charges.

Job Description

• Person interested in the field of supply chain and having fair understanding of the various terminologies associated with imports
• Coordinating with Suppliers related to Shipment and also see to it that shipments are scheduled on time as per requirement
• Arranging documents required for clearance of the material
• Coordinating with CHA on the various aspects connected with the shipments.
• Well versed with ERP and ready to learn new proprietary softwares
• Negotiating with various vendors connected to supply chain and making sure the payments are as per agreed terms
• Co-ordinating with the banks on L/C issuance, Document presentation, Rate booking, Banking charges etc.
• Maintaining Hard Copies of all import files with proper recall capabilities
