Sarthee Consultancy in Ahmedabad is seeking an Import Executive to handle end-to-end import documentation and coordination. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in import/logistics and a background of any graduation.

You will ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and timely shipments across the supply chain. Key responsibilities include managing BOE, HS code classification, coordination with CHA and banks, and preparing MIS reports on imports and costs.

• Import Operations & Documentation: manage end-to-end import documentation including POs, Proforma, BOE, invoice and packing list, BL/AWB, insurance, and supplier coordination.
• Customs Clearance & Compliance: coordinate with CHA, HS code classification, valuation and duty calculation, regulatory compliance.
• Logistics & Coordination: liaison with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and inland logistics from port to plant/warehouse.
• Banking & Documentation: coordinate import payments (LC, DA, DP) and document payment processing.
• MIS & Record Keeping: maintain import shipment records and prepare MIS reports on imports and costs.

ResponsibilitiesImport Operations & Documentation

• Handle end-to-end import documentation including: Purchase Orders, Proforma Invoice
• Bill of Entry (BOE)
• Commercial Invoice & Packing List
• Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
• Insurance documents
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely dispatch and documentation accuracy
• Track shipments and ensure timely arrival

Customs Clearance & Compliance

• Coordinate with CHA for smooth customs clearance
• Ensure correct HS Code classification, valuation, and duty calculation
• Handle import compliance as per Indian customs regulations
• Monitor and update documentation as per regulatory requirements

Logistics & Coordination

• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters
• Plan and coordinate inland logistics from port to plant/warehouse

Banking & Documentation

• Coordinate with banks for import payments (LC, DA, DP, remittances)
• Ensure proper documentation for payment processing

MIS & Record Keeping

• Maintain import shipment records and documentation
• Prepare MIS reports on imports, costs, and shipment status
