Job summary

Mastek is seeking a proactive HR Business Partner to support business teams with strategic HR initiatives, engagement, and end-to-end people management. You will partner with leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and strengthen people practices in Mumbai.

The role covers strategic partnering, employee relations, performance and talent management, HR operations and change management to foster a positive work environment and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of HRBP or core HR experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and maturity.
• Experience in fast-paced environments; strong problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of HR analytics, labor laws, and HR systems (HRMS).

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our business teams through strategic HR initiatives, employee engagement, and end-to-end people management. The HRBP will work closely with leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, strengthen people practices, and create a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnering

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Support business goals through data-driven HR insights and recommendations.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

• Manage employee relations cases with empathy, fairness, and compliance.
• Drive engagement initiatives, employee surveys, and action plans.

3. Performance & Talent Management

• Oversee annual performance review processes and guide managers on goal-setting, feedback, and development plans.
• Identify high-potential talent, create growth paths, and support succession planning.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
• Support onboarding, exits, confirmations, and internal movements.
• Identify training needs based on skill gaps and business requirements.
• Partner with L&D to deliver capability-building programs.

6. Culture & Change Management

• Champion the company's culture and values.
• Support change management during organizational or process transitions.
