Job Summary

K.R. Mangalam University is looking for a proactive and result-oriented HR Recruiter to manage end-to-end faculty recruitment across various academic schools and departments of the University. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews with qualified academic professionals, including Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Professors, Deans, and other academic leadership positions. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of academic qualifications, UGC guidelines, faculty hiring requirements, and recruitment practices in the higher education sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for faculty positions across all schools and academic departments.
• Handle recruitment for Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Professors, Deans, Directors, and other academic positions.
• Understand departmental requirements and faculty hiring criteria in coordination with Deans, Heads of Departments (HODs), and academic leadership.
• Develop recruitment strategies to fulfil faculty hiring requirements within defined timelines.

Candidate Sourcing and Screening

• Source suitable candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, academic networks, job portals, referrals, consultants, and other relevant channels.
• Screen CVs based on educational qualifications, specialization, teaching experience, research publications, Ph.D. status, and other relevant eligibility criteria.
• Assess candidates' suitability in accordance with applicable UGC norms and the University's recruitment requirements.
• Prepare and maintain shortlisted candidate profiles and recruitment summary sheets for review by the concerned departments.

Interview Coordination

• Coordinate online and face-to-face interviews with Deans, HODs, selection committees, and senior management.
• Schedule interviews, share meeting links, communicate interview details, and ensure timely follow-ups with candidates.
• Collect interview feedback and maintain accurate records of candidate progress at every stage.
• Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in faculty recruitment, academic hiring, or recruitment for higher education institutions will be preferred.
• Good understanding of academic designations, faculty specializations, Ph.D. qualifications, research publications, and applicable UGC eligibility requirements.
• Experience using recruitment portals, LinkedIn, ATS platforms, and recruitment MIS tools.
• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and organizational skills.
