Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in HR or a related field.
• 8–10 years of HR Ops or onboarding experience is preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication and ability to handle confidential employee data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the New Hire Tracker and onboarding docs.
• Coordinate pre-onboarding, background checks, statutory forms and validations.
• Verify joining documents and records (PAN, Aadhar, UAN, etc.).
• Coordinate with IT for User ID creation and email setup.
• Follow up with new joiners for missing documents and forms.
• Prepare weekly onboarding reports and trackers with SLA discipline.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for contractual resources.
• Lead a team of 3–5 HR operations members.

Job Title: Manager - HR Operations

Location: Chennai (Kilpauk)

Reporting To: Associate Director HR Operations

Role Summary

The senior executiveHR operations will support end-to-end onboarding processes and employee data coordination for new joiners. This role ensures seamless documentation, timely system access, and compliance with organizational HR protocols. The position requires attention to detail, stakeholder coordination, and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update the New Hire Tracker
• Initiate pre-onboarding formalities, including background checks, statutory forms, and form validations
• Verify and audit joining documents and statutory records (PAN, Aadhar, UAN, etc.)
• Coordinate with the IT/Systems team for User ID creation
• Share inputs for official email ID creation and ensure communication to the respective teams
• Follow up with new joiners for any missing documents or pending forms
• Support the HR Ops team in preparing weekly onboarding reports and trackers
• Ensure timely SLA-based delivery and documentation accuracy
• End-to-end payroll processing for Contractual Resources
• Handle the team of 3 - 5 members

Skills & Competencies

• Strong coordination and follow-up skills
• Familiarity with onboarding workflows and statutory documentation
• Working knowledge of tools like Google Sheets and Excel
• Working knowledge of Zoho People will be preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality
• Excellent communication (email + verbal) and organization skills
