Job summary

Everest Fleet in Thane is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliant employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to exit, and partner with leaders to improve efficiency and employee experience.

The role focuses on payroll accuracy, HRIS data integrity, policy development, and analytics, with responsibility for audits, statutory compliance, and building a strong Shared Services culture.

Qualifications

• MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent postgraduate degree.
• 8–12 years of HR experience with strong operations, payroll and compliance exposure.
• Experience managing HR operations in a growing or multi-location organisation.
• HR analytics, labour law or HRIS certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, separations and F&F settlement; ensure accurate HR documentation and letters.
• Oversee attendance, leave and variable inputs for payroll; coordinate monthly payroll with Finance / vendor; administer benefits and support appraisal and increment cycles.
• Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, POSH and Labour Codes; manage audits and filings; draft and roll out HR policies and SOPs.
• Own HRMS configuration, data integrity and access controls; deliver MIS and dashboards on headcount, attrition and cost; support workforce planning.
• Standardise and digitise HR processes with defined SLAs; coach and review the HR operations team; manage vendors.
• Centralise all transactional operational activities and processes to create an efficient HR Shared Services function.

ROLE SUMMARY

Leads day-to-day delivery of core HR operations, ensuring accurate, compliant and efficient employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to exit. Owns HR policies, payroll inputs, HRIS data integrity, statutory compliance and HR analytics, and partners with business leaders to drive process excellence and a positive employee experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
