To lead and manage all human resources functions for the company, ensuring effective recruitment, payroll and compliance, employee relations, and HR systems that support business growth in the real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Own endtoend hiring for corporate, sales, site, and project roles (e.g., sales executives, channel partners, site engineers, project managers, admin, finance, etc.).shine+1
- Work closely with recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders to define manpower plans and hiring priorities
- Design and implement sourcing strategies (job portals, referrals, campus, local networks) suitable for real estate hiring in Punjab/North India.
- Manage offer rollouts, background checks, and joining formalities.
2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit, including induction, documentation, transfers, promotions, and separations
- Maintain accurate employee records (physical and HRMS/Excel-based), attendance, leave, and other HR data
- Coordinate with finance for monthly payroll processing, salary revisions, bonuses, and incentives (especially for sales teams)
3. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
- Structure and review salary breaks, incentives, and commission plans for different roles (sales, site, corporate).
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll input: attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, advances, etc.
- Administer statutory benefits and schemes: PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Gratuity, bonus, and any group insurance/medical
4. Compliance & Statutory Management
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations: Shops & Establishment, PF, ESIC, PT, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour (if applicable), POSH, etc.
- Handle inspections, audits, and filings; coordinate with external consultants for ITR/TDS-related employee inputs where required.
- Maintain statutory registers and documentation; update HR policies as per legal changes.
5. Performance Management
- Design and implement a KRA/KPI-based performance management system aligned to business goals (sales targets, project timelines, customer satisfaction, etc.).shine+1
- Conduct periodic appraisals, feedback sessions, and capability assessments.
- Link performance outcomes to incentives, promotions, and development plans.
6. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the primary HR contact for employees; handle grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters in a fair and compliant manner.
- Drive engagement initiatives: team meetings, recognition programs, festivals/events, training sessions, and internal communications.
- Promote a positive work culture across corporate offices and project sites.
7. Training & Development
- Identify training needs for sales, site, and support teams (product knowledge, negotiation, compliance, safety, soft skills).
- Coordinate internal/external training programs and track their impact.
- Support leadership development and succession planning for key roles.
8. HR Policies, Systems & Analytics
- Draft, update, and communicate HR policies, SOPs, employee handbook, and code of conduct suitable for a real estate organization.
- Implement/improve HRMS or structured Excel-based systems for attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and reporting.
- Prepare HR MIS and dashboards (headcount, attrition, hiring pipeline, cost-to-company, absenteeism, etc.) for management review.
- Education
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
Experience
- 812 years of overall HR experience, with at least 46 years in a similar HR Manager/HR Head role.
- Prior experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, or property management strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with High-volume and niche hiring (sales + site + corporate)
- Payroll and salary structuring
