About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations for a growing real estate organisation. The role will involve managing the complete employee lifecycle, recruitment, payroll coordination, employee engagement, performance management and HR compliance.
The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to HR operations within the real estate or construction industry and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate and site-level positions.
- Understand manpower requirements and coordinate with business/function heads.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, consultants, references and other channels.
- Conduct initial screening, interviews and coordinate subsequent interview rounds.
- Manage offer, negotiation, documentation and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment MIS and track vacancies, TAT and hiring status.
2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage employee joining, onboarding, induction and exit formalities.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Manage confirmation, transfers, promotions, salary revisions and other employee movements.
- Issue HR letters, certificates and other employee-related documentation.
- Ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes from joining to separation.
3. Payroll & Attendance Management
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with the payroll team/vendor.
- Verify attendance, leave, late marks, deductions, incentives and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll inputs and resolve employee payroll queries.
- Maintain payroll-related MIS and employee data.
- Coordinate with Finance for salary processing and statutory deductions.
4. Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate and support compliance relating to PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments and other applicable labour laws.
- Coordinate with external consultants/agencies for statutory compliance.
- Maintain compliance records, registers and documentation.
- Support audits, inspections and statutory submissions as required.
5. Performance Management
- Coordinate the annual/periodic performance appraisal process.
- Ensure timely completion of KRAs, performance reviews and appraisal documentation.
- Support managers in performance-related processes and employee development initiatives.
6. Employee Engagement & Employee Relations
- Drive employee engagement activities, celebrations and employee connect initiatives.
- Address employee queries and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
- Support initiatives related to employee welfare, culture and retention.
- Promote a positive and professional workplace environment.
7. HR Policies & Processes
- Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company HR policies and processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
- Maintain HR dashboards, MIS and periodic management reports.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate/MBA in HR / Human Resources / Personnel Management preferred.
- 4–7 years of relevant HR Generalist experience, preferably in Real Estate, Construction or Infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of recruitment and HR operations.
- Good working knowledge of payroll and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/HR software and MS Excel.
- Good communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Should be proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in Real Estate / Construction / Infrastructure companies, particularly those who have handled both corporate and site employees, will be preferred.
