Job summary

Sunstar Castech is seeking an HR professional to manage Talent Acquisition, onboarding, attendance and plant HR operations in Rajkot. The role emphasizes manpower planning, job analysis, policy implementation and grievance handling to improve employee experience and safety.

The candidate will coordinate with department heads, manage PPE supplies, canteen and transport services, ensure 5S standards, and support audits and development programs across the organization.

Qualifications

• Discuss with department heads to understand manpower needs and recruit accordingly.
• Perform job analysis and create job descriptions aligned with roles and responsibilities.
• Onboard new hires and complete joining formalities.
• Handle employee grievances and improve workplace culture.
• Maintain safety registers and ensure PPE availability.
• Coordinate with purchasing for PPE refills and manage canteen/transport.
• Maintain 5S standards and ensure audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment activities across departments per TAT.
• Onboard new hires and complete joining formalities.
• Manage attendance, leaves, and staff/workers registers.
• Admin tasks: stakeholder management, guest house bookings, visitor passes, housekeeping & security.

Role & responsibilities

Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment Activities

• Discuss with every Department head, understand the Manpower needs, and perform the recruitment process according to the recruitment TAT.
• Execute Buddy Referral Policy for the hiring purposes.
• Perform the Job Analysis for various positions and create the Job Description according to the roles, responsibilities, and authority (RRA)
• Perform Onboarding and joining formalities for the New Hirings.

Plant HR Operations

• Execute and resolve the Employee Grievances and handle the objections effectively.
• Focus on improving the Employee experience and work culture.
• Regularly maintain the Safety Register and ensure the availability of Medical First Aid in the Plant area.
• Coordinate with the Purchase Team about refilling of Safety (PPE) Kits as required.
• Manage the Labour Colony, maintain a safe and hygienic environment, equipment functionality, infection control, medical facilities, and ensure proper documentation.
• Contribute and ensure smooth HR policies implementation across the Organization.
• Manage the Canteen, and execute the Employee transportation service accordingly.
• Maintain 5S standards in the departments and workshop area.

Attendance Management

• Perform Monthly attendance for the Staffs and Labourers.
• Check properly the entry and exit time.
• Execute the leave Management and update properly.
• Maintain the documents - Staff register, Workers Register and Customer visit registers, regularly.

• Perform all the admin works - Stakeholder Management, Guest house booking, Visitor Pass, Housekeeping services & Security, etc
• Provide support to every Department during learning and development programs.
• Maintain the Audit - related documents, participate during the Audits and provide support during the process.
