Job description

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and direct the team setting clear performance goals and KPIs.
• Oversee day-to-day department operations, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a collaborative, high-performing internal team culture.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs for the HR staff, and support their professional growth and career progression.
• Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and capacity planning for the HR department.

HR Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure 100% adherence to local, state, and central labor laws, employment regulations, and data privacy mandates.
• Regularly audit HR processes, including payroll processing, statutory deductions (e.g., PF, ESI, TDS/taxes), contract templates, and right-to-work documentation.
• Keep company handbooks, HR policies, and standard operating procedures updated in response to evolving employment legislation.
• Act as the primary advisor to management on high-risk employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations to mitigate legal exposure.
• Maintain clean audit trails and secure record-keeping systems for all personnel files, compliance reports, and regulatory filings.

Core HR & Operations (General Oversight)

• Oversee the end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding lifecycle managed by the team.
• Monitor performance management systems, ensuring fair and consistent appraisal cycles across the organization.
• Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and payroll accuracy

Basic Administration:

• Manage office supplies, equipment, and facility upkeep.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense claims.
• Maintain records of office procurements and vendor contracts.
