Madhu Jayanti International is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Factory HR Manager to support the HR team in managing day-to-day HR operations at our factory in Madukkarai.
This role is suitable for freshers and HR professionals with 0-2 years of experience who are interested in building their career in Factory/Plant HR, Employee Relations, Recruitment, and HR Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Factory HR Operations
- Support day-to-day HR operations at the factory.
- Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
- Assist in managing attendance, leave, shift, and overtime records.
- Coordinate with employees, supervisors, and department heads for HR-related matters.
- Support implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
Recruitment & Manpower
- Assist in recruitment for factory/workmen, staff, and supervisory positions.
- Source candidates through various recruitment channels and manpower agencies.
- Screen CVs and coordinate interviews.
- Support joining formalities and employee onboarding.
- Assist in maintaining manpower requirements and recruitment trackers.
Employee Relations
- Support the HR team in handling employee queries and grievances.
- Maintain good communication with workmen and employees.
- Assist in employee engagement and welfare activities.
- Support disciplinary and employee-related documentation.
Attendance & Payroll Support
- Assist in collecting and verifying attendance, leave, overtime, and shift-related data.
- Coordinate with the payroll team for monthly payroll inputs.
- Maintain accurate employee and attendance records.
- Assist in preparing HR MIS and reports.
Statutory Compliance
- Support documentation related to PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain compliance-related records and documents.
- Assist during internal/external audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with HR consultants and statutory agencies when required.
Contract Labour Management
- Assist in managing contract labour and manpower contractors.
- Maintain contractor and contract-worker records.
- Support verification of attendance and statutory documents.
- Coordinate with contractors for manpower requirements.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HR Operations and Factory HR.
- Understanding of basic labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong coordination and documentation skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with employees and workmen.
- Willingness to work in a factory/plant environment.
- Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to handle multiple HR activities efficiently.
Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in HR/Factory HR/HR Operations.
- Freshers with an MBA/PGDM in HR or MSW (HR) or just graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with exposure to recruitment, employee handling, attendance, payroll support, or statutory compliance will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
