Job Description
HR & Operations Business Partner
Reporting To: Operation Head
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with all employees through regular interactions.
  • Visit the office at least twice a week (or as required) to meet employees and strengthen engagement.
  • Address employee queries and coordinate with the concerned departments for timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular employee connect sessions and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Meet newly joined employees and periodically interact with existing employees.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and internal cultural activities with support from the team.
  • Plan and coordinate events such as Fun Fridays, festive celebrations, employee gifting, greetings, and other engagement programs.
Attendance & Employee Records
  • Ensure employees update their attendance before the monthly payroll cut-off.
  • Follow up with employees for pending attendance, documents, and other HR requirements.
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and internal employee database.
  • Monitor timelines for HR activities and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
Recruitment, Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
  • Coordinate and complete onboarding formalities for new employees.
  • Prepare and issue Offer Letters and other employment-related documents.
  • Prepare salary breakups and maintain compensation records.
  • Initiate and coordinate employee appraisal processes.
  • Support employees throughout their employment lifecycle.
Payroll & Accounts Coordination
  • Coordinate closely with the Accounts team regarding payroll processing.
  • Verify payroll before salary release to ensure accuracy.
  • Share monthly payslips with employees.
  • Coordinate reimbursement processing wherever applicable.
  • Manage employee group insurance and related documentation.
  • Conduct short daily coordination meetings (approximately 1520 minutes) with the Accounts team to review ongoing work and priorities.
Client Coordination & Finance Support
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for client finance and HR-related communications.
  • Monitor client emails and respond or coordinate timely resolutions.
  • Follow up with clients regarding invoices, payment approvals, and pending finance-related queries.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts team to provide all information required for invoicing, payroll, and client documentation.
  • Ensure client queries are resolved within committed timelines.
  • Escalate critical issues to the CFO whenever required.
Administration & Coordination
  • Maintain regular coordination with internal stakeholders and management.
  • Visit the office whenever business requirements demand.
  • Meet company leaders, shareholders, and senior management during office visits whenever required.
  • Ensure assigned tasks are completed within deadlines while maintaining high quality and professionalism.
Employer Branding & Additional Responsibilities
  • Support the company's employer branding initiatives.
  • Occasionally manage or coordinate social media activities, including LinkedIn updates and employee branding initiatives.
  • Assist in any additional HR, administration, or operational responsibilities assigned by the CFO.

  • Experience in staffing, recruitment, payroll coordination, or client servicing will be an added advantage.
