Job summary

Indus Towers in Mumbai seeks an experienced HR and Admin professional to manage employee records, payroll coordination, onboarding, and compliance.

You will coordinate training, engagement, facilities, vendor management, budgeting, and internal communications while ensuring cost control and a positive workplace culture. The role requires strong organizational skills, high integrity, and effective collaboration with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HRIS systems
  • Manage attendance, leave tracking, and payroll coordination
  • Oversee onboarding documentation and employee lifecycle processes
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, policies, and internal audits
  • Handle employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary coordination
  • Support performance appraisal cycles and HR reporting (MIS)
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives (events, activities, surveys)
  • Drive employee satisfaction and retention programs
  • Conduct feedback sessions and engagement surveys
  • Support internal communication initiatives (announcements, newsletters)
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employer branding
  • Identify training needs in coordination with stakeholders
  • Plan and coordinate training programs (internal/external)
  • Track employee training calendars and learning progress
  • Maintain training records and certification data
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and impact (feedback, performance improvement)
  • Oversee office facilities, maintenance, housekeeping, and utilities
  • Manage vendor onboarding, contracts, and service delivery
  • Handle asset management (allocation, tracking, and recovery)
  • Ensure availability of office supplies and infrastructure
  • Manage travel bookings and reimbursement processes
  • Ensure workplace safety, security, and compliance standards
  • Prepare and manage budgets for HR, Admin, Engagement, and L&D activities
  • Track monthly expenses vs budget allocations
  • Optimize costs across vendors, events, training, and office operations
  • Maintain expense reports and cost analysis dashboards
  • Coordinate with Finance for approvals, invoicing, and payments
  • Ensure financial discipline and adherence to budget limits
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Analytical mindset with cost-management focus
