Job summary

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals (DFPCL) is seeking an HR data specialist to support data cleansing, validation, and governance across HR systems. You will maintain accuracy of employee records, master data, and organizational structures, and generate dashboards for HR decisions.

Preferred: MBA in HR or Business Analytics, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), basic knowledge of HRMS/HCM, and sharp analytical attention to detail for handling large datasets.

Role & responsibilities

• Support the HR IT team in data cleansing activities, including identification, correction, and removal of duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate employee records.
• Assist in maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across HR systems and databases.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation exercises to ensure compliance with data standards.
• Update and manage HR master data, employee records, organizational structures, and system-related information.
• Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and data trackers to support HR operations and decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

• Pursuing or recently completed MBA in HR, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation) and MS Office applications.
• Basic understanding of databases, data management, and HR systems (HRMS/HCM) is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle large datasets and perform data quality checks efficiently.
