About the Role
Bizpact is looking for an HR Intern Cum HR Executive to manage recruitment activities and support day-to-day HR operations. The role involves working closely with hiring managers and employees to ensure timely hiring, smooth onboarding, accurate HR records, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Understand hiring requirements, job descriptions, and selection criteria in coordination with hiring managers.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, campus connections, and other relevant channels.
- Screen applications, conduct initial HR discussions, and assess candidates against role requirements.
- Schedule interviews, coordinate feedback, and maintain timely communication with candidates.
- Manage offer discussions, salary negotiations, reference checks, and pre-joining follow-ups.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular updates on open positions, interview progress, and joining status.
Onboarding and Employee Records
- Coordinate offer letters, joining documentation, background verification, and new-hire orientation.
- Ensure employees complete joining formalities and receive the information needed to start their roles.
- Maintain accurate employee files, HR databases, and records throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Prepare routine HR letters and documentation in line with company processes.
HR Operations and Employee Support
- Track attendance, leave, and employee data, and coordinate accurate inputs for payroll processing.
- Respond to routine employee queries on HR processes and policies, escalating sensitive matters when needed.
- Support probation reviews, performance review coordination, and employee engagement activities.
- Assist with resignation documentation, clearance formalities, and exit processes.
- Prepare HR reports and identify opportunities to improve administrative processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; an MBA or postgraduate qualification in HR is preferred.
- Prior experience in recruitment or HR operations is preferred.
- Experience hiring for finance, accounting, consulting, or shared-services roles would be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and follow up consistently with stakeholders and candidates.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and recruitment platforms.
- Attention to detail when handling employee information and HR documentation.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and a service-oriented approach to employee queries.
