Cognito Excellence is seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our team in a remote setting. This internship offers practical learning exposure and mentorship in Human Resources.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team in a remote setting.

What you'll actually do:

• Assist in sourcing candidates through job portals, social media, and internal databases
• Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements
• Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain and update candidate records, employee files, and HR databases
• Support onboarding and induction activities for new hires
• Assist in preparing offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documents
• Help manage attendance, leave records, and employee documentation
• Support employee engagement activities and internal communication initiatives
• Assist in maintaining compliance with company HR policies and procedures
• Provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations
• Handle other HR-related tasks as assigned by the reporting manager

Who fits this:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• Strong interest in Human Resources and recruitment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of HR functions and practices
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Prior internship or project experience in HR/recruitment is a plus
