Position Title: HR Generalist
Location: India Haryana
We are seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to independently manage day-to-day HR operations, payroll, recruitment, employee engagement, administration, and statutory compliance while ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management and workplace operations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, induction, documentation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, exits, and Full & Final Settlement.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRMS/master data, personnel files, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
- Prepare HR letters, implement HR policies/processes, and address employee queries and grievances.
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Manage monthly payroll inputs and processing covering attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, and other payroll components.
- Coordinate with Finance/Accounts and payroll consultants for timely and accurate salary processing; resolve payroll queries and maintain reports.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments, Minimum Wages, and other applicable laws.
- Maintain compliance calendars, registers, challans, returns, and records; coordinate statutory filings, audits, inspections, notices, and government correspondence.
POSH Compliance
- Coordinate POSH compliance, including Internal Committee documentation, policy, employee awareness/training, records, annual reporting, and confidentiality of complaints/proceedings.
- Recruitment & Employee Engagement
- Manage recruitment from sourcing and screening through interviews, HR discussions, offers, and joining formalities; maintain hiring trackers and reports.
- Coordinate performance appraisals, employee engagement initiatives, grievance handling, and HR communications.
HR Policies & Administration
- Support development, implementation, and periodic updates of HR policies and processes.
- Support disciplinary and grievance-handling matters.
- Manage day-to-day office administration, facilities, vendors, housekeeping, security, supplies, and assets to ensure smooth workplace operations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in HR Generalist / HR & Admin / HR Executive roles.
- Hands-on payroll processing experience is essential, with working knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle, recruitment, engagement, and administration.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/MS Office and HRMS/payroll systems.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within timelines.
