Job summary

Beyond Border Consultants seeks an on-site HR Partner to manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for client startups and mid-market firms across India.

You will maintain employee records, ensure compliance with labour laws, and support engagement initiatives while coordinating with hiring managers and senior HR for escalations.

Qualifications

• Experience with HRMS tools such as Zoho People, Keka or GreytHR.
• Proficient use of recruitment platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri and Indeed.
• Knowledge of attendance and leave management systems.
• Experience with employee lifecycle management.
• Understanding of labour compliance (Shops & Establishments Act, PF, ESI, PT).
• Familiarity with basic HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for entry to mid-level roles across client organisations.
• Onboard new hires: prepare offer letters, documents, orientation, and ramp-up.
• Administer employee records, maintain HRMS data, ensure compliance with labour laws and policies.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communications to reinforce culture.
• Support HR operations including leave tracking, attendance, and payroll data verification.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee queries and escalate complex issues when needed.

You’ll be embedded at client sites, acting as the on-the-ground HR partner — solving talent, culture, and compliance challenges with agility and empathy.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for entry to mid-level roles — sourcing, screening, scheduling, and coordinating hiring decisions with hiring managers.
• Onboard new hires: prepare offer letters, manage documentation, conduct orientation sessions, and ensure smooth ramp-up.
• Administer employee records, maintain HRMS systems, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communication initiatives to reinforce culture and belonging.
• Support HR operations including leave tracking, attendance management, and payroll data verification.
• Act as first point of contact for employee queries and elevate complex issues to senior HR or legal as needed.
