Job summary

Jindal Power in Maharashtra, India is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage monthly payroll processing, ensure accurate attendance, and handle statutory compliance for a large workforce.

The role includes validating payroll inputs, processing F&F settlements, generating payroll reports, and reconciling deductions such as PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and TDS. Onboarding and exit formalities support is also required, along with maintaining HR records.

Qualifications

• Experience in monthly payroll processing.
• Knowledge of statutory deductions including PF, PT, TDS.
• Strong Excel and HRIS/payroll software skills.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within stipulated timelines.
• Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, shift allowances, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements.
• Ensure payroll inputs are validated before salary processing.
• Ensure Full & Final Settlement (F&F) for separated employees.
• Generate salary registers, bank transfer statements, payslips, and payroll reports.
• Process and reconcile contributions related to PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, and other statutory deductions as applicable.
• Support onboarding and exit formalities.
• Maintain employee personal files and HR records.

• Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, shift allowances, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements.
• Ensure payroll inputs are validated before salary processing.
• Ensure Full & Final Settlement (F&F) for separated employees.
• Generate salary registers, bank transfer statements, payslips, and payroll reports.
• Process and reconcile contributions related to Provident Fund (PF), Employees' State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), Income Tax (TDS), and other statutory deductions as applicable.
• Support onboarding and exit formalities.
• Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
