Job summary

Saajan Jewellers in Mumbai is seeking an HR executive to manage the complete employee lifecycle, build a disciplined and motivated team and ensure smooth implementation of HR systems, policies and processes. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, performance reviews and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in retail/jewellery/FMCG, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to support daily operations across stores and support

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of HR experience preferred.
• Experience in retail/jewellery/FMCG preferred.
• Ability to manage employee lifecycle and payroll inputs.

Responsibilities

• Handle recruitment and hiring for store and support functions.
• Prepare and maintain employee data records, attendance and leave records.
• Manage joining, induction and onboarding of new employees.
• Prepare and maintain Job Descriptions, KRA/KPIs and performance records.
• Conduct regular employee performance reviews and follow-ups.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, incentives, deductions and attendance data.
• Implement HR policies, rules and disciplinary processes.
• Address employee queries, concerns and conflicts.
• Maintain employee documents and statutory records.
• Coordinate training and development programs.
• Support management in manpower planning and team restructuring.
• Maintain employee engagement and workplace discipline.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
