Cedar and Sage Corporation in Gurugram, India, invites an experienced senior barista to lead daily beverage operations and elevate the cafe program with signature drinks and seasonal menus.

You will train staff, manage inventory, and ensure top-quality beverages, while maintaining hygiene and seamless coordination with kitchen and service teams.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in caf or beverage operations, preferably in a senior barista or team-lead role.
• Strong knowledge of espresso-based beverages and latte art.
• Experience in beverage menu development, costing, and presentation.

• Prepare espresso-based coffees, specialty coffees, teas, shakes, mocktails, and other beverages.

• Train and supervise barista staff on beverage preparation and service standards.
• Operate, clean, and maintain espresso machines and other bar equipment.

• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at the beverage counter.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth guest experiences.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 4-8 years of experience in caf or beverage operations, preferably in a senior barista or team-lead role.
• Strong knowledge of espresso-based beverages, specialty coffee, milk steaming, and latte art.
• Hands-on experience in mocktail preparation, flavour pairing, garnishing, and beverage presentation.
• Knowledge of shakes, smoothies, iced coffees, and other caf beverages.
• Experience in beverage menu development, recipe standardisation, and costing.
• Understanding of inventory management, stock control, and wastage reduction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about coffee and beverage innovation.
